In a communication dated 24 January 2014, the Internal Revenue Service of the United States has determined the Foundation to be a “public charity” that is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 46-0869952. Contributions to the Foundation are deductible under section 170 of the Code. The Foundation is also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under sections 2055, 2106, and/or 2522 of the Code.
